TiCN cermet blanks Advantages:
1.Better wear properties than carbide
2.Longer tool life leads to less machine down time
3.Higher cutting speeds result in greater productivity
4.Superior surface finish eliminates many secondary operations.
TiCN cermet blanks Application:
1.best for #45 steel,die steel,harden steel,titanium,inconel,stainless steel machining;
2.easy brazed with steel for more applications;
3.best for fine finish,such as the molding of mobile cover, the keyboard of the computer,
(suitable for CNC cutting tools,PCB, milling tools,indexable inserts,etc)
Cermet Inserts are available in a vast range of designs and grades to offer brilliant surface finishing in boring, turning, milling, grooving and threading operations. Coated Cermet Inserts provided by zhuzhou site cemented carbide co.,ltd are the perfect in high wear resistance and excellent toughness.
Cermet inserts are manufactured from ceramic reinforced with titanium nitride and tantalum nitride. This makes them harder and more wear resistant than tungsten carbide cutting tools and even tougher than ceramic. Cermet is the ideal cutting material if you need high speed finishing of cast iron and hardened steel.
Cermet inserts have a longer tool life – which can be further extended by conventional coatings – and can run at higher cutting speeds than standard coated carbide inserts. They also have a low friction coefficient which means they are the best inserts for resisting adhesion and cratering.
